About Us
IncarceratedSupermarket.com was founded in 2026 by me and my dad, inspired by my own journey and the many years I spent incarcerated.
During that time, I witnessed firsthand how difficult it can be to access basic food and everyday essentials. I came to understand that having familiar, reliable products brings comfort and a sense of normalcy in a place where so much feels out of your control.
After my release, I knew I wanted to build something meaningful for the incarcerated communities, something created by someone who truly understands their needs, especially where other companies often fall short. That vision is what led us to create IncarceratedSupermarket.com, an online supermarket designed specifically to better serve the incarcerated correctional community.
Our mission is simple and heartfelt:
- To make essential supermarket products easier for families and loved ones to send, helping those behind the wall maintain a sense of normalcy and connection to everyday food items while incarcerated.
- To help families save money by offering prices that are often a few dollars lower or by providing more product (lbs. or quantity) for the same dollar.
